How it works
The steel plate mounts to your phone, or to the inside or outside of your case. The mount clips over your bridge and onto the carabiner. The magnet does the rest. The bottom shelf is reversible: lip in for a tighter lock against the bridge, lip out for extra stability under the phone.

For full holding strength, slip the steel plate between your phone and your case while you hunt, then park the plate on the mount when you are done so you never lose it.
Will a metal case work instead of the plate?
Only if the metal is steel. Aluminum and titanium backs are not magnetic and the mount will not hold to them. When in doubt, run the plate.
Can I mount the phone vertically and horizontally?
Both, and you can switch with one hand in the tree. Nothing grips the edges of the phone, so no cradle is dictating the orientation. Clamp and cradle holders take two hands to adjust and generate a lot of movement you cannot afford while hunting.
Will my phone come off if I bump it?
The 45 lb magnet is rated well beyond the weight of a phone. You can turn the mount upside down with your phone on it and it will stay, as long as you use the included extra thick steel plate.
Do I need a tether or a lanyard with it?
No. The combination of the extra thick steel plate and the 45 lb magnet is what removes the need for one. A tether is one more thing to snag and unclip in the dark.
Can I film a hunt with it?
Yes. It sits on the carabiner facing you from about two feet, which gives you your own reaction and a clear view of your release without a second camera.
Can I hang gear from it?
